Job Summary

Tops Friendly Markets is seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, scanning and/or ringing customer purchases, and ensuring a smooth checkout experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide friendly and attentive customer service
  • Scan and/or ring customer purchases
  • Bag customer orders
  • Collect payment for customer transactions
  • Stock supplies in the immediate area, returning shopbacks, retrieving carts, and miscellaneous cleaning and straightening of various shelf sections
  • Direct customers to an appropriate manager when necessary
