- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families, promoting a positive and supportive care environment.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and use equipment necessary for patient care, ensuring accuracy and safety.
- Document patient information, treatment plans, and outcomes, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Stay current with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements, maintaining expertise in critical care nursing.
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, preferred.
- Current License to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State, plus specialized certifications as needed.
- 2+ years of critical care or PACU RN experience, preferred.
