Central State Hospital is a behavioral health acute care hospital licensed for 100 beds, providing various levels of care for acute and long-term care patients. As a partner of CPS Solutions, LLC, we are committed to delivering high-quality pharmacy services to our patients.
About the PharmacyOur pharmacy team consists of enthusiastic individuals, including a Director of Pharmacy, Clinical Pharmacist, Staff Pharmacists, and Pharmacy Technicians. We utilize AcuDose software and dispensing cabinets, and Meditech EMAR to provide efficient and effective pharmacy services.
Requirements- High School Diploma or GED
- Kentucky Pharmacy Technician License REQUIRED
- National Certification (PTCB or ExCPT) REQUIRED
- Valid KY Drivers License Required
- 3+ years of experience as a pharmacy technician, retail or hospital
- Proficient computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Office
- Effective communication skills, verbal and written
- (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
- (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
- Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving immunity
- HepB3 Series (or declination)
- (Flu) Influenza - required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
- COVID Vaccine
