Railway Production Machinist

At Sterling Engineering Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Railway Production Machinist to join our team in Sherman, TX.
Key Responsibilities- Operate CNC machines to manufacture parts and rail for railroad track and turnout assemblies
- Ensure accuracy by using measuring devices and marking all rail accordingly
- Operate overhead cranes with precision and care
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a machinist/CNC machine operator is necessary
- The ideal candidate must be able to multitask and work with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and ability to inspect rail using measuring devices are essential
- A strong understanding of safe work practices is mandatory
We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as benefits from day one, including 11 paid holidays, 2 weeks of vacation, and a comprehensive 401(k) plan.
