Job Description
The Senior/Staff Engineer, Mechanical Reliability will be responsible for leading the technical stewardship of fixed equipment, piping, and mechanical systems, ensuring safe and operational conditions across the plant.
This role requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accurate documentation for static equipment and mechanical systems, including drawings, manuals, and procedures.
- Collaborate with maintenance and operation groups to identify and resolve reliability issues, developing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Participate in the Management of Change process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Develop and implement training programs for junior engineers and technicians, enhancing their knowledge and skills in mechanical systems and reliability engineering.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum ten years' experience in an industrial setting, preferably in LNG or related fields.
- Demonstrated expertise in ASME codes, API standards, and relevant industry regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
