We are seeking a skilled Medication Technician to provide high-quality personal care and service to our residents at Prairie View Manor. As a Medication Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the personal choices of our residents while maintaining consistency with regulations and established best practices.
Responsibilities:- Manage and distribute resident medications according to medication administration policies and procedures.
- Provide personal care and support to residents as directed by the Administrator.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure the highest level of care and service.
- Be flexible and available to work beyond regularly scheduled hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-year experience as a caregiver/med tech in a CBRF/RCAC environment preferred.
- Ability to read, speak, and write in English.
- Flexible and available to work beyond regularly scheduled hours, as well as weekends and holidays as needed.
- Must have or be willing to obtain CBRF/RCAC certifications as needed.
- Ability to learn new technology.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Excellent communication skills.
