We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Medicine team at Chabert. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize the nursing process to deliver high-quality patient care, assessing learning needs and implementing teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of patients, families, and other groups or disciplines.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, delegating and managing nursing team resources to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Embody a customer-centric approach, adapting behavior to meet the specific needs of patients, including respect for privacy, effective communication, and permission-based care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to evaluate and promote change, driving optimal patient outcomes and embracing concepts that enhance customer satisfaction and employee morale.
- Current registered nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Certification within 30 days of hire.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 90 days of hire.
- Certification in clinical specialty area.
- Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing.
