Key Responsibilities:
  • Report directly to the Vehicle Electronics Supervisor
  • Install and troubleshoot 12-volt and 24-volt electronic systems (including cameras, GPS tracking, telematics, and two-way radios) on company and client vehicles
  • Maintain accurate records of installations and repairs
  • Possess and care for the necessary hand tools to execute job tasks
  • Be prepared for flexible working hours, including weekends, overtime, and overnight shifts
  • Travel may be required
  • Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed
Essential Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent certification
  • Valid driver's license is mandatory
  • Experience in 12v/24v installation and maintenance is essential
  • Strong understanding of vehicle electronic systems, including GPS, relays, and video technology
  • Experience with school buses or coach buses is preferred
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime
  • Able to travel to various locations as required
  • Technician must provide their own tools for the role
  • Physical capability to perform all job-related tasks safely
  • Proficient computer skills are necessary
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Self-motivated and proactive attitude
  • Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening
