Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse for a travel nursing assignment in Rochester, New York.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have experience in an Acute Care Cath Lab setting and possess strong clinical skills. The Cardiac Cath Lab RN will perform angioplasties, implant pacemakers, and diagnose cardiac conditions using invasive catheterization procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer care for heart disease and heart attack patients by obtaining visual diagnostics of the arteries of the heart.
  • Identify blockages, assist the physician during procedures, and monitor the patient's status at other times.
  • Administer interventional procedures like cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, pacemaker and/or defibrillator implantation, and related interventional or diagnostic procedures.
Requirements:
  • Active RN License
  • Degree from accredited nursing program
  • BLS & ACLS Certifications
  • Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Cath Lab setting
