Clinical Department Manager

The Clinical Supervisor is accountable for the ongoing leadership and operations of a clinical department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality nursing care and services to patients and families. This role requires effective participation with the interdisciplinary team to provide patient and family services. The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for supervising nursing department associates and providing patient care when needed. They must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise nursing department associates and provide patient care when needed
• Coach and guide employees under supervision
• Participate in the interdisciplinary team to provide patient and family services
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality nursing care and services to patients and families
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department
Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
• Ability to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department
