CNC Machinist

Job Summary:

The CNC Machinist will be responsible for operating and programming CNC lathes and mills to produce high-quality precision parts. This role requires attention to detail, mathematical skills, and the ability to use precision measurement tools. The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC equipment and/or machine shop experience that would facilitate training on the role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and program CNC lathes and mills to produce precision parts
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to guide machining operations
• Set up and troubleshoot CNC machinery
• Utilize measuring instruments such as bore gauges, micrometers, and other precision tools to meet tolerance requirements
• Clean and perform light maintenance on machinery

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with CNC equipment and/or machine shop experience
• Impeccable attention to detail and mathematical skills
• Ability to use precision measurement tools
• Technical certifications or training in machining a plus
