Job Summary:

UCHealth is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide leadership and care to our patients. As a Nurse Leader, you will be responsible for supervising and mentoring staff, determining staffing levels, and providing direct patient care as needed.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and mentor staff during assigned shifts
Determine staffing levels and assignments based on staff availability, abilities, census, and patient acuity
Provide direct patient care as needed and float between staff to assist with problem-solving
Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care and identify any issues that affect desired patient outcomes
Respond to complaints about patient care and related services, and manage through established channels

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
1 year of nursing experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
