Job Overview

Position Summary: The Automotive Technician role involves performing complex tasks related to the repair and upkeep of vehicles and machinery, operating under minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnoses, repairs, and overhauls trucks and machinery.
  • Keeps a detailed log of maintenance activities and schedules upcoming services.
  • Conducts inspections and preventative maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
  • Prepares and maintains necessary documentation and reports.
  • Adheres to safety protocols and ensures a tidy and organized workspace.
  • Undertakes additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid Driver's License.
  • Access to reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work autonomously while fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Capable of working in various weather conditions.
  • Strong task prioritization skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, climb, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and use hands for various tasks.
  • Must be able to navigate uneven surfaces.
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50lbs without assistance.
  • Frequent exposure to environmental sounds and hazards, as well as extreme temperatures and humidity.
