Job Summary

Cedar Point, a world-renowned amusement park, is seeking a skilled Ride Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and smooth operation of our 18 coasters and other thrill rides.


Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on all rides and devices to prevent mechanical failures and ensure guest safety.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and repair of ride systems, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components.
  • Operate machine shop equipment to fabricate and repair ride parts.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless park operations.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience with hand tools.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must pass a background check and drug test.
