Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Probation Support Specialist to join our team at the Colorado Judicial Branch. As a key member of our probation office, you will provide administrative support to our probation staff and functions, ensuring the smooth operation of our case management activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to all probation staff and functions.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for internal and external customers, managing jail communications, email inquiries, and courtesy requests.
  • Access and retrieve data from multiple platforms, including jail data systems, treatment tracking systems, and national crime record databases.
  • Process record requests from attorneys, the Department of Corrections, and other courts and external agencies.
  • Complete judicial case management system and electronic filing, including documentation for pre-sentence investigations, requests for warrants, and special reports.
  • Manage digital files via SharePoint and other case management systems, ensuring accurate and timely filing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • 1-3 years of experience in an administrative field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Work Environment

This is a 20-hour per week position in our Montrose, Colorado office. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
