As a Music Educator at Bach to Rock, you will be responsible for providing high-quality music lessons to students of all ages and skill levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach private and semi-private music lessons using our proprietary curriculum and song arrangements.
  • Create a positive and engaging learning environment that fosters students' musical growth and development.
  • Assess students' readiness to join a band or ensemble and provide guidance on how to achieve their musical goals.
  • Participate in school events and contribute to the overall success of our music education program.
  • Perform equipment maintenance and repairs as needed.

Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of music concepts and the ability to communicate them effectively to students.
  • Strong knowledge of music theory and technique relevant to the primary instrument.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to ensure students stay on track during lessons.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with diverse personalities and age groups.
  • Experience as a performer (solo or group) and working with youth and/or beginning musicians.
  • Ability to interact effectively with children and adults and pass a background check.
