Quoting Specialist

Smartdept. inc. is seeking a skilled professional to fill a Quoting Specialist role with a client based in the greater Chicago area. This is a full-time, fully remote opportunity with a potential 3-month contract duration and the possibility of extension. The compensation for this position is expected to be $25-$31 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage transactional operations of quotes to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
• Provide technical support to account managers, educating them on products, services, and resources to enhance their self-sufficiency.
• Respond to inquiries from Business Development Managers, Account Managers, ATAEs, and Solution Architects via email or phone.
• Collaborate with Managed Services Service Delivery, OEM, and delivery partner to achieve shared goals.
• Develop and provide comprehensive quotes with minimum sale prices and recommend additional margin.
• Optimize lead lists to maximize time, effort, and sales.
• Work closely with Product Specialists to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Build and maintain business relationships with Sellers.
• Track and manage sales forecasts to ensure accurate predictions.
• Conduct conference calls and customer presentations as necessary.
• Identify opportunities to improve the quoting process and contribute to the CTS Team's efforts to enhance offer and operations.
• Engage with partners to foster business relationships and explore new opportunities.
• Collaborate with Service Delivery to identify additional skill sets required for the team.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience in Sales or Sales Support.
• College degree or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products.
• Ability to develop and deliver presentations to various audience sizes.
• History of managing multiple priorities simultaneously while adapting to changing business needs and meeting deadlines.
• Experience in technology sales is preferred.
• Familiarity with competitive products is also preferred.
