Job Title: Bus Driver

We are seeking a qualified Bus Driver to join our team at Phillipsburg Education Center.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, as well as participating in pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive a 20-54 passenger bus to transport students to and from school
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
  • Develop and maintain a positive relationship with students, parents, and school staff
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff to ensure a safe and successful transportation experience
Requirements:
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) to drive a school bus
  • Good driving record
  • Criminal Background Check required
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of the Phillipsburg area
  • Personal attributes that include a love of children and flexibility
