Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team at Huntington Ingalls Industries. As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will be responsible for designing, testing, and implementing secure operating systems, networks, and database products. You will conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for application design, as well as identify and mitigate potential security threats.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement secure operating systems, networks, and database products
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for application design
  • Identify and mitigate potential security threats
  • Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments
  • Monitor and analyze security incidents and oversee security breaches investigations
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's Degree and 14 years of relevant exempt experience, or a Master's Degree and 12 years of relevant professional experience, or a Ph.D. and 9 years of experience. You will also need a strong understanding of security principles, risk management, and compliance regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

A Security+ qualification, previous ISSO/ISSM experience, and working knowledge of eMASS are required. CASP+ certification and experience with DoD classified networks and PIT systems are desired.
