About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at College Park Family Care Center. As a clinical expertise professional, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, efficient care to our patients.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Managing the efficient flow of patients, including screening, preparation for examination, instructing patients on collection of any necessary samples/tests, and obtaining vitals;
- Notifying patients of test results and follow-up appointments, and instructing patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions;
- Managing patient records, including chart entries and posting lab/tests and examination results;
- Scheduling tests and treatments, including arranging referrals to a specialist and obtaining pre-authorizations when directed by the provider.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing;
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital or clinic setting, preferred;
- Licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in accordance with state regulations.
