- Daily Living Assistance: Support patients in performing essential daily activities such as personal hygiene, nutrition, and mobility.
- Collaboration: Work across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, and addressing psychosocial needs.
- Education: Assess and address the learning needs of patients and families, providing tailored education based on individual circumstances.
- Advocacy: Champion the physical and emotional well-being of patients, ensuring their rights to privacy and dignity are upheld.
Engage in continuous professional growth through participation in educational programs, workshops, and literature review. Take responsibility for maintaining current nursing practices and standards.
Qualifications- Education: Must possess a valid and active Registered Nurse License in the State of Tennessee.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking abilities, decisive judgment, and the capacity to operate independently in high-pressure situations.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are required (can be obtained within 30 days of orientation).
