In this client-oriented role, you will play a crucial part in the design and construction of intricate wastewater treatment and infrastructure projects. This includes the development and management of budgets, timelines, contractual obligations, and quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:
Conducting civil engineering tasks related to water and wastewater treatment facilities and conveyance systems, with a focus on site design elements such as site layout, yard piping, roadways, paving, grading, and stormwater management

Engaging in engineering planning and design projects, including conceptual and preliminary design activities, site visits, overseeing fieldwork, alternatives analysis, and report generation

Creating plans and specifications

Estimating costs for various water and wastewater initiatives

Performing hydraulic modeling

Managing permitting and alternatives analysis

Drafting technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables

Providing engineering support during construction

Participating in field activities and site assessments


Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering

6 to 12 years of relevant experience in civil engineering

Professional Engineer registration

Application of engineering principles, including critical thinking, analysis, and innovative methodologies

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Able to work effectively in a team setting

Capable of communicating efficiently with clients and project teams

Highly motivated, articulate, and self-driven

Proficient in MS Word and Excel

Preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Civil Engineering

Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D for developing engineering drawings
