We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Med-Surg team at AdventHealth DeLand. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

About the Role

The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering coordinated nursing care to patients in the Med-Surg unit. This includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and goals.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a minimum of an Associate of Science degree.
  • Active Florida or multi-state RN license required.
