Meat Associate

About the Role

The GIANT Company is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Meat Associate to join our team. As a Meat Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and process deliveries, maintaining a clean and organized work environment
• Weigh, price, and label products accurately and efficiently
• Stock and rotate products, ensuring maximum visibility and accessibility for customers
• Prepare and display valued-added products, such as pre-cut meats and specialty items
• Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly
• Maintain a thorough understanding of product knowledge and make recommendations to customers
• Ensure compliance with sanitation and food safety standards, maintaining a clean and safe work environment

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to read, communicate, and understand company policies and safety regulations
• Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements for this position, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job
• Must be able to work in a cold environment
