About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Assembly and Quality Technician to join our team at Amprius. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in our battery cell production process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate production equipment to assemble battery cells
  • Inspect cells at various stages of assembly to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Audit the assembly process to identify and rectify any discrepancies
  • Use precision equipment and hand tools to produce components and battery cells
  • Operate large equipment safely and efficiently
  • Measure materials with precision instruments
  • Visual inspection of defects and input data into quality management software
  • Assemble components into a physically complete cell
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of product function and quality requirements
  • Ability to train and coach other technicians
  • Follow standard work instructions and recommend improvements
  • Collaborate with engineers and managers to identify and remedy quality problems
  • Intermediate level computer skills and ability to enter data accurately
  • Takes responsibility for product quality
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multitask and pay close attention to details
Education and Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing
  • High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent Required. Technical degree preferred
