Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Funeral Director to join our team at SCI. As a Funeral Director, you will be responsible for coordinating and conducting funeral services, working closely with families to understand their needs and preferences, and ensuring that every detail is handled with care and respect.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and conduct funeral services, including visitations, funerals, and graveside services
  • Work closely with families to understand their needs and preferences, and ensure that every detail is handled with care and respect
  • Manage and coordinate the logistics of funeral services, including transportation, flowers, and music
  • Prepare and present eulogies and other tributes to honor the deceased
  • Collaborate with other SCI professionals to ensure seamless execution of funeral services
  • Provide exceptional customer service to families and individuals in need
Requirements
  • Graduated from an accredited school or college of mortuary science
  • Current Funeral Director license within the practicing state
  • Valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving record required to operate company-owned vehicles
  • Industry experience is preferred

  • Positive attitude, drive to continually advance understanding of the industry and business, and highly self-motivated
