Job Summary

The Heico Companies is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our Purchasing department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day release of Purchase Orders to support manufacturing and Customer Orders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement and Sourcing: Responsible for the procurement of raw materials, goods, and services to meet the company's production needs.
  • Order Management: Manage the entire order lifecycle, from receipt of purchase orders to delivery of goods.
  • Supplier Management: Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and control inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports on procurement activities, including spend analysis and supplier performance.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
  • Skills: Strong communication and negotiation skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and experience with procurement software.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Lean/6 Sigma Training/Certification
  • Fluency in English
  • Experience with buying Raw Materials and MRO type items
