Overview

Compensation Package

The annual salary for this position is estimated at $96,455, reflecting the region's cost of living and industry standards.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Labor & Delivery Nurse to provide exceptional patient care, work collaboratively with obstetricians and other healthcare providers, and contribute to the overall success of our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, and implement effective care strategies for laboring mothers, ensuring timely interventions as necessary.
  • Monitor vital signs, contractions, and fetal heart rates, making informed decisions to promote optimal patient outcomes.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including epidurals and intravenous fluids, while prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families throughout the labor and delivery process.
  • Document and report patient status, changes, and treatment outcomes accurately and efficiently.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher educational attainment from an accredited program.
  • An active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
  • A minimum of 1+ year of experience in Labor and Delivery, Obstetrics, or a related field.
  • BLS and ACLS certification.
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record systems and standard medical equipment pertinent to Labor & Delivery.
