Job Title: Construction Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to join our team at Swinerton. As a Construction Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the activities of laborers, carpenter's helpers, and apprentices on various construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of laborers, carpenter's helpers, and apprentices on construction sites.
  • Ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and identify potential issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress, including time sheets, material inventory, and equipment usage.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as estimating and purchasing, to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Certified Journeyman Carpenter license/certificate (if required by the applicable state, city or county).
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a journeyman carpenter or similar role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Able to lift and/or pull 50lbs., climb ladders, work off ladders, man lifts or other equipment.
  • Able to maintain a standing position for extended periods of time, fully squat, bend or kneel while wearing a tool belt.
  • Capable of working in a variety of weather conditions.

Compensation Range: $32.00 - $34.00 per hour. Estimated annual salary is around $67,000 based on full-time hours.
