Position Overview:

This position involves a variety of responsibilities including:

  • Utilizing a robust accounting background to manage complex estimates and judgements.
  • Ensuring adherence to standards such as US GAAP and SOX governance.
  • Executing monthly and quarterly residual value processes and preparing necessary journal entries.
  • Collaborating with Risk and Data Analytics teams to understand underlying modeling processes.
  • Preparing support documentation for financial statements and ensuring accuracy in reporting.
  • Engaging with stakeholders to communicate modeling results and business trends effectively.
  • Maintaining comprehensive documentation for all processes, including audit support and user guides.
  • Implementing testing for changes in compliance with standards.
  • Assisting in the external audit process to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Supporting the Accounting Manager in developing analytical metrics and standardized processes.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and automation.
  • Providing expertise in accounting processes and supporting strategic projects.

Key Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Experience working with Risk teams and executive-level stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with statistical modeling tools.
  • A four-year degree in a related field is required.
  • CPA certification is preferred.
