We are seeking a licensed Optometrist or Ophthalmologist to conduct comprehensive eye exams for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's SHA process.
About the RoleThis is a rewarding non-treating, non-determination role focused solely on assessments. As an independent contractor, you will have the autonomy to work part-time (Mondays & Wednesdays 8a-4p) and enjoy a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities- Review veterans' medical records through a secure web portal.
- Perform thorough eye exams, including Visual Field Testing (VFT).
- Complete and submit evaluation forms via the web portal within 24 hours of the exam.

Qualifications- A licensed Optometrist or Ophthalmologist.

- Possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and capable of submitting forms within required timelines.
$75,000 - $100,000 per year (based on location and experience).
