Ultrasound Technologist Travel Position

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Belmont, North Carolina. As a US Tech, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound procedures, preparing patients for exams, and maintaining accurate records.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Educate patients and their families regarding procedures performed
  • Use sonographic equipment to identify and observe areas of concern
  • Prepare exam rooms for examinations and assist radiologists with ultrasound procedures and biopsies
  • Report any abnormalities requiring immediate attention to medical staff
  • Maintain sonography equipment and report machinery failure
  • Conduct scan tests and write reports based on results
  • Maintain accurate patient records
  • Understand and use the McKesson PACS system


Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
  • BLS certification
  • ARDMS National Certification
  • State-specific licensing when required
