We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant II to join our Andalusia branch. As an Accountant II, you will work closely with the Controller to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and various accounting reports in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Perform daily balancing and reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
• Assist with month-end closing process.
• Coordinate accounting matters with other departments and locations.
• Complete annual training as required by the bank.
• Assist with gathering documentation for internal and external auditors.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Master's degree in Accounting and CPA preferred.
• Banking experience preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in Accounting.

Desirable Skills:

• Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
• Above average organizational and time management skills.
• Demonstrated analytic, written, and oral communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary range for this position is between $65,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. The bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
