Role Summary

Serving the Tri-Cities area for nearly 50 years, Colonial Heights Animal Hospital is a newly remodeled, full-service animal hospital offering the most advanced diagnostic equipment available to today's veterinarian.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care to patients while developing rapport with their owners.
  • Perform physical examinations, surgeries, and dentistry, with a focus on client communication and education.
  • Determine client needs and wishes, and deliver treatment plans that meet their expectations.
  • Stay up-to-date with new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine.
  • Assist in the development of the paraprofessional team to ensure delivery of high-quality care and exceptional client service.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university.
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Tennessee.
  • Professional comportment and appearance, with excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, friendly attitude.
  • Ability to make decisions and communicate clearly and effectively with fellow team members.
  • Respect for and willingness to work with clients and their pets.
