Job Overview

COMPENSATION: $11.80/hour (Up to 1,500 hours annually)

As a part-time employee, you may be eligible for a retention bonus of up to $3.75 per hour for all hours worked during the peak season. This position is seasonal, so please ensure your availability throughout the duration of the season. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Your main role will involve greeting park visitors and processing their food orders. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing and serving food, offering both hot and cold beverages, managing cash transactions, and maintaining cleanliness in the food service area.

KEY DUTIES: In addition to the primary responsibilities, you may be required to assist with various other tasks as needed.

  • Welcome visitors and take their food and beverage orders.
  • Prepare and serve food and beverage items.
  • Process payments and operate the cash register efficiently.
  • Utilize the point of sale system to sell various items.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily transactions and inventory.
  • Restock and organize supplies as necessary.
  • Ensure cleanliness of the food preparation area and equipment.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES: If you are 18 years old and have a clean driving record, you may have the opportunity to operate a beverage cart.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates should have a solid understanding of food safety practices, effective communication skills with visitors, the ability to collaborate with team members, and proficiency in handling food service equipment. Flexibility to work during special events, weekends, evenings, and holidays is essential.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: Applicants should be capable of following instructions, familiar with food service regulations, and knowledgeable about food handling practices to ensure safety and compliance.
