We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at UNC Health Wayne. As a member of our patient care team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals and families in our community.
Responsibilities- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and educating patients and families.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance the quality and safety of patient care.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in North Carolina.
- At least one year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a medical-surgical or critical care unit.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain a high level of productivity.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs) and other healthcare software.
