The Cybersecurity Risk Management Expert will deliver project management, in-depth subject matter expertise, and strategic guidance to government personnel in executing Command-wide Cybersecurity initiatives in support of Defensive Cyber Operations for the US Navy.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee cybersecurity, certification, and accreditation processes for all classified and unclassified networks. Develop, review, and update Cybersecurity Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as necessary. Maintain an inventory of authorized software and devices. Conduct audits and validate configurations on various systems and devices. Ensure compliance with DISA STIGs and implement necessary compensating controls. Keep all Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Certification & Accreditation (C&A) documentation current and relevant. Perform comprehensive annual reviews of RMF packages to ensure compliance. Maintain traceability throughout the RMF submission process. Document and manage network and system information in relevant databases. Support compliance validation of current and future directives. Provide recommendations for corrective actions on non-compliant security controls. Execute DISA STIG validations in conjunction with C&A package reviews. Prepare detailed reports on scanning results and configuration management findings. Conduct and document semi-annual tabletop exercises. Review and revise Business Impact Analysis (BIA) annually. Assist with training and documentation of IT contingency plans. Ensure a secure and organized work environment. Complete required training and record daily labor hours. Travel may be required up to 10%. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is mandatory. Minimum of 1 year of experience with Assured Compliance Assessment System (ACAS) and/or Nessus. At least 5 years of experience in Certification and Accreditation (C&A) package assembly. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification is essential. Risk Management Framework (RMF) training and certification is preferred. Previous experience as a Fully Qualified Navy Validator is advantageous. Current CompTIA Security+ certification is required. Must be a U.S. Citizen. Valid driver's license is necessary. Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.
