Logistics Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator - Sales to join our team in Manor, TX. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering and restocking products to retail stores and/or wholesale distribution locations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.

• Load, unload, and deliver products to each account on the established route, prioritizing safe and efficient delivery practices.
• Drive a truck over an established route to deliver, stock, and stage products at customer locations, adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays and deliver promotional material to customers, ensuring accurate shipment verification and salable product condition.
• Resolve discrepancies and customer complaints, maintaining excellent customer service standards and promoting a positive brand image.
• Collect empty containers, rejected, or unsold merchandise for return, documenting daily inventory, orders, delivery invoices, and proof of delivery as required.
• Perform Motor Vehicle Inspections on trucks to conform to company policy, and assist with routine maintenance on trucks, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Exhibit courtesy towards customers, work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors, and maintain a neat appearance, following established policies and management direction.
• Maintain vehicle and hours of service logs as required by DOT, ensuring reliable attendance and consistent work hours.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management, including additional responsibilities related to product delivery and customer service.

Requirements:

• A valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License is required.
• Prior experience driving Class A or Class B commercial vehicles is preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.
• The ability to read, write, perform basic mathematical calculations, and accurately record data required.
• Physical demands include frequent standing, walking, kneeling, reaching, climbing, pulling, and bending, as well as lifting over 60 pounds and pushing/pulling up to 300 pounds with a hand-held hook.
