About the Role:

Baker Book House Company is seeking candidates for the role of Marketing Communications Intern within our fiction marketing team. The primary goal of this internship is to assist with various administrative tasks that support the marketing initiatives of our publishing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research on emerging media platforms and maintain updated media contact lists.
  • Design promotional templates and create engaging graphics for social media platforms.
  • Track and document media coverage and publicity outcomes.
  • Draft press releases and other promotional materials as required.
  • Manage the upload of press materials to our internal systems.
  • Evaluate requests from digital platforms for promotional opportunities.
  • Provide general assistance to the marketing communications team.

We offer flexible scheduling to accommodate academic commitments, with a preference for hours to be worked on specific weekdays. The internship is designed to conclude at the end of the designated term.

Candidate Profile:

This internship is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in marketing communications, particularly within the publishing industry.
