Job Overview

In this role, you will deliver essential therapy services to in-patients within a long-term acute care and rehabilitation facility.
Your focus will be on assessing and treating individuals with complex medical and neurological conditions, guiding them towards achieving their highest level of functional independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer both individual and group therapy sessions as prescribed by medical professionals.
  • Craft tailored therapy treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Provide expert consultation on Occupational Therapy challenges, specific treatment methodologies, and programming to enhance understanding and collaboration in patient care.
  • Oversee and mentor Occupational Therapy students as assigned.
  • Foster open communication with all members of the healthcare team, demonstrating a commitment to teamwork.

Qualifications:

1. Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Proficient in both written and verbal communication with strong interpersonal skills.

2. Education: OTR or MOT in Occupational Therapy.

3. Licensure: Must hold a valid license from the State of Wisconsin Department of Regulation and Licensing to practice Occupational Therapy.

4. Experience: Previous experience with neuro and medically complex patients is preferred.
