Salary
The estimated annual salary for this role is between $114,800 and $114,800 based on a 40-hour workweek and an hourly wage of $55.00.
Responsibilities
This role involves using specialized knowledge and training in speech language pathology to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive, communication, voice, swallowing, fluency, and other related disorders. Key responsibilities include examining patient medical history, developing diagnosis and treatment plans, and implementing those plans through direct patient care. This role also requires effective communication and documentation skills, as well as the ability to integrate the hospital's mission and values into daily practice.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist, a Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA or Clinical Fellowship Year status, and at least two years of experience in a rehabilitation hospital setting. Additional qualifications include the ability to demonstrate an understanding of treatment costs and financial support, as well as competency in clinical operations and procedures. You should also have leadership skills, including the ability to delegate, organize, and educate coworkers and staff.
