Job Title: Structural Estimator

Patriot Erectors, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Structural Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our estimating department, you will be responsible for generating accurate and detailed estimates for steel fabrication and erection projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform takeoffs of material, labor, and vendor costs to supply all materials/scope required for a project using design drawings and specifications.
  • Communicate with general contractors to clarify project requirements and schedules.
  • Collaborate with vendors to obtain pricing quotes for vendor-supplied materials/scope.
  • Review project specifications to ensure comprehensive scope capture.
  • Provide detailed scope of work and takeoff to the estimating manager for submission to general contractors.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with general contractors and vendors.
Requirements:
  • High school graduate required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of five years' experience in industrial/commercial steel fabrication.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, with emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with Blue Beam and On-Screen Takeoff a plus.
