We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Vascular Access Specialist in a PRN capacity. Key Responsibilities- Coordinate vascular access needs for patients, ensuring timely and effective access to necessary treatments.
- Function as a resource to nursing and provider staff, providing guidance and support on vascular access-related matters.
- Assist in the development of policies and procedures related to vascular access, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
- Formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college) in a specialized field.
- BSN preferred.
- 1-3 years' experience with ultrasound IV starts required.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse, Registered to practice in Maryland.
- American Heart Association BLS Certification.
