Job Description

MPW is a rapidly growing company that requires the services of a skilled CDL operator to join our team. As a CDL operator, you will be responsible for operating tools and equipment at various customer work sites to provide industrial and environmental cleaning services.

Essential Functions:
  1. Arrive at the branch or jobsite on time, in uniform, properly groomed, mentally alert, and physically able to work.
  2. Operate MPW vehicles (cars or vans).
  3. Set up jobsites, including water blast hoses or vacuum hoses.
  4. Use equipment such as water blast guns, water lances, dry vacuum hoses (6 and 8), wet vacuum hoses (6 and 8), shovels, and picks.
  5. Adhere strictly to MPW Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.
  6. Clean equipment prior to returning to the MPW branch location.
  7. Demonstrate initiative in executing assigned tasks.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Required Skills:
  1. Ability to maintain a consistent workload involving heavy manual labor.
  2. Ability to maintain alertness and acuity that is not typically impaired by any medication, diet, or physical condition.
  3. Ability to bend, stoop, squat, sit, and maneuver in confined spaces.
  4. Ability to wear respirators in environments that may expose you to chemicals, fumes, etc.
  5. Ability to maintain workloads that may include travel to various states for days or weeks and daily timeframes that could exceed the typical 8-hour shift.
Required Experience:
  1. High School Diploma with specialization in industrial or vocational trades preferred.
  2. Some High School Education acceptable.
  3. Valid Drivers License with CDL - Class A, and be within current limits for MPW Driver Points.
  4. Specific exposure to an equipment or maintenance environment.
  5. Experience performing manual labor in an outside setting.
  6. 2-3 years of hands-on experience with tools or heavy equipment.
