Per Diem Speech Language Pathologist

Job Summary:

As a Per Diem Speech Language Pathologist at Adventist Health, you will provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services to patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. You will adhere to state and federal regulatory license, certification, and accrediting requirement guidelines, and serve as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document findings.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Supervise and direct support staff as needed.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Current licensure in the state of practice.
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
