Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Therapist to join our team at Centria Autism.

As a Behavior Therapist, you will play a vital role in implementing individualized behavior intervention plans for children with autism. You will work closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to provide evidence-based techniques and strategies that promote communication, social, and daily living skills.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping children with autism reach their full potential. You will need to be patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team environment. We offer comprehensive training to ensure you have the necessary skills and knowledge to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of BCBAs
  • Provide evidence-based techniques and strategies to promote communication, social, and daily living skills
  • Work collaboratively with BCBAs to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, special education)
  • Passionate about working with children with autism
  • Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification, and Tuberculosis test (if not already current)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
  • Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This estimate is based on the national average salary for this position in the United States.
