Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at the Town of Greenwich, CT. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing tasks to ensure the health, safety, and comfort of our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment, electrical systems, and plumbing fixtures
  • Respond to emergency calls and perform repairs as needed
  • Operate hand and power tools, light vehicles, and other equipment used in the maintenance and building trades
  • Assist with building security and participate in quality assurance activities as needed
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school diploma or GED preferred
  • At least 1 year of building trades experience, with 9 months of experience within the last 7 years
  • Ability to lift, push, and support weights of 50 lbs. or greater
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle in the State of Connecticut
