Job Summary

Educate students with autism and other special needs as part of our dynamic Elementary Autism Program at East Central Kansas Coop In Education.

Salary: Estimated $70,000 - $85,000 annually.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and deliver specialized educational programs for students with autism and other special needs.
  2. Implement and track IEPs to ensure student progress and growth.
  3. Collaborate closely with colleagues, parents, and administrators to foster a supportive learning environment.
  4. Utilize expertise in assessment and instructional strategies to adapt teaching methods for diverse learners.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education; Master's preferred.
  • Kansas state certification in special education.
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills.
  • Able to work effectively with students, families, and staff members from diverse backgrounds.
