Overview:

As a vital member of our manufacturing team, the Extrusion Press Operator will oversee the setup and functioning of extrusion machinery to produce a variety of shapes and lengths from diverse materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and calibrate extrusion press machines.
  • Operate and adjust extrusion presses for optimal performance.
  • Make necessary color adjustments to ensure product quality.
  • Maintain product specifications and quality assurance.
  • Assist in the upkeep and maintenance of machinery.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Flexibility to meet production deadlines.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.

Qualifications:

  • 0-2 years of experience in extrusion or machine operation.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Forklift certification to be obtained post-hire.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Work Schedule:

  • 3rd shift, Monday to Friday; hours from 10:50 PM to 7:00 AM.
