Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Athletic Trainer to join our team at Delta Health. As a key member of our Outpatient Therapies and Sports Performance clinic, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Evaluation and Treatment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine the best course of treatment for musculoskeletal and sports-related injuries.
  • Exercise Program Development: Design and implement personalized exercise programs to address patients' short- and long-term goals.
  • Therapeutic Exercises and Education: Demonstrate and assist patients in executing prescribed therapeutic exercises, while educating them on proper techniques and safety protocols.
  • Patient Monitoring and Documentation: Monitor patients' progress, document treatment plans, and maintain accurate records.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Marketing and Community Outreach: Participate in marketing and community educational programs to promote the clinic's services and raise awareness about sports medicine and injury prevention.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from an accredited university athletic training program, current Colorado Athletic Trainer licensure, and Board of Certification (BOC) certification.
  • Experience: Minimum of two years' experience working with regular fitness clients or athletes, and one year of clinical experience.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Strong understanding of sports injuries and treatment options, first-aid treatments, massage, and physical rehabilitation techniques and equipment. Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules and procedure manuals. Good driving record and excellent driving skills required.
